About Us

We're Winan Creek Barn, and we're an event venue here in Hanlontown, IA. We are an all-service venue available to host any events such as weddings, birthday parties, graduation parties, bridal and baby showers, corporate events, and much more. We're looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Cerro Gordo, Hancock, Worth, Floyd, and Wright counties, and the surrounding communities. This place was amazing! We attended a wedding reception here and they clearly go out of their way to make the day special! Very clean and decorated nicely! Very quiet location helped focus the attention on the wedding party. There was a live band playing as well. Overall experience was awesome and I would highly recommend!

What a beautiful venue this is. We had our wedding June 22, 2024, and Mike and Angie went above and completely exceeded all our expectations. We had no idea what we were walking into. Angie asked what we wanted and what we saw, then we walked in for rehearsal dinner, and our vision was reality. All the guests loved the venue and the games and the full bar was fantastic. Mike and Angie were constantly communicating with the wedding party throughout night asking questions getting advice and giving advice.
